Ryan Murphy has hinted that a second season of Netflix's Hollywood could get made.
Starring The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons in a very different role to what he's done previously (real-life talent agent Henry Willson), this seven-episode story takes a 'What If?' approach to Tinseltown and the results have garnered plenty of praise since its release this month.

Responding to a fan's question on his Instagram page — "Are you planning a season 2 with the same cast? Please say yes" — series co-creator Murphy offered an ambiguous, if not slightly exciting statement.
"Well HOLLYWOOD was planned as a Limited series, but it's become so popular that everyone is asking for another season," he responded. "So who knows? I sure do love this cast though. xo."
Considering he's also one of the main minds behind American Horror Story and American Crime Story, could Murphy be about to turn Hollywood into another anthology?

Elsewhere, Parsons recently spoke about the unique experience of working with Murphy.
"He's got a real way of seeing a possibility in performers; he knows they can do things that they've never thought of.
"He gets a real tickle doing exactly that, which is showing people in a light you've never seen before," he added.
Hollywood is streaming now on Netflix.
