Hospitality Group K2 Restaurants is expanding SocialEats, a food discovery concept optimized for local appeal, operational efficiency and scalability from Santa Monica to Hollywood, according to a company press release. SocialEats Hollywood, located at 1542 N Cahuenga Blvd., will open this fall with six restaurant concepts — Pop!s Burgers & Shakes, Azule Taqueria, Supertoro, Street Noods, Voltaggio STRFSH and a new boiling crab seafood concept to be announced at a later date. The arrival of SocialEats Hollywood also comes with the launch of SocialEats Good Eats, Delivered Program — a fleet of all-electric, zero-emissions BMW i3 cars and free delivery within five miles of each SocialEats location.
"We developed SocialEats to be the next generation food hall, capable of incubating new concepts and streamlining operations under a single collaborative strategy that could sustain itself and pave the way for rapid expansion," founder John Kolaski said in the release. "This year has presented unprecedented challenges for the restaurant industry. With the launch of our new SocialEats Good Eats, Delivered Program we intend to meet those challenges while expanding SocialEats and our restaurant concepts to new markets within the city of Los Angeles, and with more efficiency and value to our customers."
A third SocialEats is scheduled to open in Mid-Wilshire along the Miracle Mile later this year, and SocialEats Las Vegas will open in 2021.
