Fox Nation host Nancy Grace and her entire family — husband David Linch, their 13-year-old twins John David and Lucy Elizabeth and her elderly mother Elizabeth Grace— have all tested positive for COVID-19.

“COVID is no joke, we thought we had done everything right. Please keep wearing masks, social distancing and stay safe – no family should go through this,” the television star and legal commenter told the Daily Mail exclusively on Friday. A spokesperson for Grace also confirmed the news to Yahoo Entertainment.

Last week, according to the outlet, Elizabeth, 88, was tested for COVID-19 after coughing, feeling lethargic and losing her appetite. On Monday, she tested positive for the virus and was hospitalized in the family’s home state of Georgia. The rest of the family was tested, went into quarantine and received their positive test results on Wednesday. The Daily Mail reports that Elizabeth’s condition is improving, Nancy has a cough and “flu-like symptoms,” David has “severe” headaches and the children have mild headaches and sore throats.

Nancy and John David also lost their sense of smell, which is a common side effect of the virus.

“We're praying for my mom that she returns home as soon as she can. We'd like to thank the tremendous doctors and nurses who are taking such wonderful care of her,” Nancy told the publication. “David, the twins and I, will continue to isolate at home while we recover and we look forward to Mom coming home as soon as we are all better.”

As of Saturday, there are nearly 16 million positive COVID-19 cases and 295,791 deaths associated with the virus. Last week, as U.S. hospitalizations topped 100,0000, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told Newsweek that January outbreaks “were going to be terrible” due to social gatherings over Thanksgiving and Christmas.

On Friday night, the U.S. Food Drug Administration authorized emergency use of the COVID-19 vaccine, “a significant milestone in battling this devastating pandemic,” according to FDA commissioner Dr. Stephen M. Hahn.
