HGTV's Tarek El Moussa and his fiancé, Selling Sunset's Heather Rae Young, are already planning their future homes together. Although the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. are still in the process of renovating their first house together in Newport Beach, California, they already have a (tentative) destination picked out for a later property. However, this new home would require a plane ride.
Over the weekend, El Moussa and Young jetted off to Arizona and visited the Bondurant High-Performance Driving School. "We drifted, raced cars and karts!," El Moussa wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of him and Young posing in front of some cars outside the school. He praised Young on her driving skills and continued to gush over their trip: "We absolutely love the Arizona desert!" he wrote. In fact, he added that they loved Arizona so much that they're looking to have a home there.
"We are about 99.9 percent sure we need a home here," the father-of-two wrote, asking fans for suggestions in the Scottsdale area. "Any Scottsdale insiders," he posed, followed by "anyone have a cool house to sell us!!?"
While El Moussa's note about securing property in the Southwest may just be part of a post-race adrenaline rush, he's never gone so far as to say "we need a home here" during any other out-of-state getaway. Young also took to the comments to express her desire to return: "So much fun!!!! ❤️👏🏼 racing school here we come!"
Will they make it happen? It's hard to say, but El Moussa and Young's passion for real estate paired with their spontaneous drive (remember when they teased getting hitched in Vegas?) could just lead to some new digs in Scottsdale. Stay tuned!
