Halsey has been giving fans a glimpse into life with a newborn since welcoming their first child, Ender Ridley Ayden, in July.
On Sunday, the 26-year-old shared an adorable selfie of them breastfeeding their one-month-old son in a dressing room.
"Welcome to the jungle," she captioned the photo for their more than 25.9 million followers. While many singer's supporters applauded them for normalizing breastfeeding, others called the photo "unnecessary."

"You don't need to post a picture every time you breastfeed by the way," one person wrote. "I personally have no problem with women publicly breastfeeding but at the same time, I don't know why you feel the need to overshare such intimate moments between you and your newborn [baby]. You're trying to make breastfeeding an aesthetic and it's weird."
"You're just another mother," one Instagram user sounded off. "You're not breaking the mold."
"Some pictures don't need to be published," wrote another. "Is this all this page is now?"
"So like, is you uploading a photo of you breastfeeding every couple of days going to be a thing now?," asked another.
Despite the criticism, many of the singer's supporters quickly took to the comment section to praise them for their "bravery" and applaud them for being a multi-tasking mom.
"This is so beautiful," one person commented. "Thank you for sharing."
"Motherhood looks so good on you," said another.
"Yes! Normalize breastfeeding," another added.

"Anyone who is offended by this needs to learn that breastfeeding is a normal, natural part of life and not something to be sexualized," one said.
The "Without You" singer and their screenwriter boyfriend, Alev Aydin, welcomed Ender on July 14, and shared a black and white set of photos on social media announcing his arrival.
"Gratitude. For the most 'rare' and euphoric birth. Powered by love," they captioned the post.
