The actress teased season 12 while she was at it, and fans are thrilled.
Blue Bloods fans, if you haven’t seen Bridget Moynahan’s recent Instagram activity, you might just want to take a peek. The 49-year-old actress took to the social media app to share a snap from the final filming of season 11 of the procedural police drama.
“It’s a wrap people. #season11 @bluebloods_cbs is in the can!” she excitedly wrote in the caption. “Thanks to an incredible team and crew! We love you all!”
As much as we all love to see Bridget’s smiling face and contagious excitement, it was her last sentence that really caught our attention.
“See you in a few months #season12,” she closed the caption.

There’s been ongoing speculation that Blue Bloods could come to an end—even though Tom Selleck (who plays police commissioner Frank Reagan) has said otherwise numerous times. Nevertheless, Bridget’s post served as a reminder that one of our favorite police dramas will, in fact, go on.
And we’re not the only ones who are excited! Fans and fellow actors swarmed Bridget’s comments section to share their thoughts.

“This show is the absolute best and it’s all because of the great cast and crew!!! Can’t wait for 12,” another fan chimed in.
Needless to say, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for season 12. Here’s hoping Bridget continues to share BTS snapshots in the meantime.
