Linda Lou Moore Hollywood-Jaco
Linda Lou Moore Hollywood-Jaco of Greenville passed away peacefully at home on Monday evening, April 5, 2021.
She was born to Lowell and Loretta Moore on Jan. 25, 1936 in Cumby, Texas. Linda grew up on a farm in Cumby, and graduated from Cumby High School in 1953 before attending college.
She graduated from East Texas State Teachers College in 1957, and then went on to teach elementary school for 30 years in Homestead Florida, Greenville, Texas and Caddo Mills, Texas. She held a Master's in English, and was cherished and loved by her students.
She was married on Aug. 24, 1957 to Billy Don Williams who pre-deceased her. She was later married to Ralph Hollywood of Greenville, on Aug. 4, 1990 and they lived happily together until Ralph's death on July 27, 2009. She then married Charles E. Jaco on Nov. 24, 2012.
She is survived by her husband Charles E. Jaco of Greenville, Texas, sister Mary Jo Smith of Euless, Texas, sons Kevin Williams and his wife Susan of Edmond, Oklahoma and David Williams of Greenville, Texas, three grandchildren, Jeremy Williams and wife Michelle of Washington, D.C., Jennifer Shrewsbury and husband Jared of Edmond, Oklahoma, Jillian Williams of Greenville, Texas, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Linda is also survived by lifelong friend Jo Ross, of Campbell, Texas.
Linda leaves behind many wonderful friends and cherished memories from her many years of membership at Grace United Presbyterian Church (Now United Presbyterian Church).
Visitation will be held Friday, April 9, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, April 10, 2021, from 2- 4 p.m. at Peters Funeral Home in Greenville, Texas. A memorial service will be held on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to United Presbyterian Church, 5905 Stonewall St. Greenville, TX, 75402.
